For summer's patriotic parties!

Here's a new pattern for a "Patriotic Placemat" or table topper that you'll love to use for those summer get-togethers that are coming up soon. This 15" round mat can be used as individual placemats or a collection of toppers for a picnic table centerpiece. Use Warm Company's InsulBright for your batting and they can even be used as trivets for hot dishes.

Hoppy Easter embroidery

We got a LOT of requests for this guy from machine embroiderers so, for those who have been waiting, here's my "Hoppy Easter" bunny. He's available as a set of three files (applique, mixed applique and thread, and all thread).  He's great for placemats and table toppers and the small version is perfect for napkins, napkin rings, and even hair decor for girls. All you have to do is stitch him on felt, cut him out and attach him to a hair tie or head band :) The files are available to order here. Have fun!

Since I haven't posted for awhile, I also wanted to let you know that new colors will be coming for my Fizz, Dot-to-Dot and Fresco fabric collections for Robert Kaufman Fabrics. I'm always excited by even MORE color choices! All of the collections are available at PatrickLose.com if you haven't seen them at your local shop. And, due to the popularity of Fresco we were sold out of some colors. I'm happy to say that all of the current 59 colors are now available on the site.

We also have lots of new machine embroidery designs if you haven't been to the website for awhile. If you're a machine embroidery enthusiast, you'll want to see them.

It's time to get rid of these snowflakes - don't you think? Bring on spring! But I'm working on the Fall and Winter issues of Quilting Celebrations so I'll leave them here a bit longer :) I hope it's not too cold where you are.

A taste of Fresco

Fresco has been even more well-received than I had hoped and you may not have it in your area yet due to availability. If you can't find it at your local independent quilt shop, take a look at our web shop and build your stash with these new Roll Ups and Charm Squares. What a great way to add some color to your stash's palette in Brights, Lights and/or Darks :)
